Alyssa Schock, DPT, Cert.DN
Alyssa was born and raised in Montana. She studied Human Performance and Athletic Training at the University of Montana, graduating in 2004. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2016 also at the University of Montana.
Her career has been centered around pelvic health for all genders throughout the lifespan. She has studied pelvic oncological rehab, participated in bringing women’s health care to other countries, built several hospital based prenatal care and education programs and developed skills to treat prenatal and postnatal patients. She is certified in dry needling, and pelvic oncology rehab. She has specialized manual training for joint mobilization and manipulation.
Over the last several years Alyssa has encountered a population of women who have not had great success with hormonal transitions and are experiencing symptoms of perimenopause and menopause including body pain, mental health dysfunction, and movement impairments. Her personal interest, research, and training has developed more positive outcomes in treating these symptoms. She looks forward to more research and treatment options for this population of women in the near future!
Alyssa is married and has 2 busy young adult children. She loves hiking adventures, traveling, and creative cooking.
